Make 2016 Your Healthiest Year Yet – Jason Vale Retro Juicer
January was Wellbeing month at QVC, promoting lots of healthy tips, inspiration and advice to make 2016 your healthiest year yet. So i was delighted to get involved. Throughout January i shared lots of workouts, recipes and fitness tips on this blog, which you can check out here if you haven’t already, and i figured it was about time i shared a yummy juice recipe! I always make smoothies at home, particularly protein ones after workouts, but i’ve never had a juicer. So when the *Jason Vale Retro Juicer turned up i was so freakin’ excited! (and not just because it’s pink).
I was a little confused at first how to use it (note: reading instructions does actually help) but it’s really simple to use, and surprisingly easy to clean. Each part comes out separately so there’s little to no hassle. As part of the package, you also get the 28 day juice cleanse book. I personally wouldn’t do it for 28 days, but there’s lots of delicious recipes in there that i would never have thought to create myself. There’s also pages of before and after weightloss inspiration and health and fitness tips that will undoubtedly motivate you!
Over the last week i have had great fun making different recipes, but my favourite was this fruity refreshing one i created myself. It’s the perfect juice to wake you up (or even help cure a hangover – like i experienced…) My family have also been sneakily using it when i’m out, so clearly it’s a hit with everyone! To make the juice pictured, i cut up all the ingredients listed below into small chunks, making sure to remove the skin off the banana and pineapple as that could break your juicer, and popped them right in. The juice comes out one funnel, and the pulp out of another,
If you want to get into juicing yourself, you can purchase The Jason Vale Retro Juicer at QVC here for £274.92. I also highly recommend checking out QVC for lots of great products, ideas and inspiration for getting fit and healthy this year! And make sure to use the hashtag #QVCWellbeing on Twitter & Instagram so i can see all your healthy, motivating posts! xox
