Here’s how to make the best protein bars, ever! (in my opinion 😉 This is honestly the easiest, tastiest protein snack out there! And if you’re just looking for a healthier version of your usual sugar-loaded cereal bar these are also for you! Let me know if you try these out! xox
3 Tablespoons nut butter of choice (I like to mix them)
2 tablespoons ground almonds
100g protein powder (i recommend vanilla – I use Impact Diet Whey from MyProtein)
1 tablespoon any milk of choice
Splash of maple syrup
2-3 tablespoons chopped pecans/hazleuts
bar of MELTED dark chocolate
mix all ingredients (apart from the chocolate) in a mixing bowl until combined into a dough like form.
LINE A BAKING TRAY WITH STICK-PROOF PAPER.
PRESS MIXTURE INTO THE BAKING TRAY.
MELT DARK CHOCOLATE (I DO IT IN THE MICROWAVE) AND POUR OVER THE MIXTURE.
PLACE BAKING TRAY IN FRIDGE AND LEAVE TO SET.
ONCE SET, CUT INTO DESIRED SIZE/SHAPE AND ENJOY!
