4 Free Fitness Apps Every Girl Needs On Their Phone
With the New Year fast approaching (honestly, where has this year gone?) most of us are thinking about our new years resolutions. I’m sure i’m not the only one that has fitness pretty much at the top of their list. Thing is, getting yourself off to a good start come January is often where we go wrong. Fortunately, there are many apps out there that cost you nothing, and will inspire and motivate your fitness journey! Below are the 4 Free Fitness Apps i love. Whether you like running, lifting weights, circuits, or simply need a way to organise your fitness plan there’s something there for you.
Body Space – Perfect for any girl who wants to find a free workout plan. With the power to decide the total length, days per week & over all goal this is the ideal app! Plus, it’s completely free and you can interact with other people doing the same workout plans as you. Most of the plans on there are created by top personal trainers & fitness experts so you are guaranteed to see results! I love the Lee Labrada 12 week lean body daily trainer – It’s intense, but my god does it work!
Sworkit – I chat on about the benefits of HIIT & circuit workouts rather a lot, but that’s because they really do work! This app gives you high intensity body weight workouts which you can make as short as 5 minutes or unto an hour. This app is perfect for any girls who don’t have much time on their hands but still want to get a good workout in!
C25K – Want to complete your first 5k run? (not a Netflix kinda run – sorry) Well this app creates you an 8 week plan of 3 workouts per week and guides you every step of the way. By the end you will be fit enough to run a full 5k! Perfect for any girls of any fitness level, so if you’ve never ran in your life, or need a running plan to keep you on track this is the one for you!
Workout Plan – Keeping track of your progress and actually having a routine is the key to success. That is where the Workout Plan app comes in. It literally does what it says on the tin – plan your workouts. We recommend creating the following weeks workout plan around your schedule. This way you head to the gym knowing exactly what you’re doing, and won’t just sleep on the stretch mats instead.
Just simply search the names of the apps on the app store, download and enjoy! Let me know which ones you try! xxx
